This workshop will be aimed at both complete beginners (have never used watercolour before) or  intermediate painters, who are either looking to brush up on their skills, or simply practice in a constructive environment.

Learn how to paint with watercolour, in a fun & constructive environment!
This will be a 2-day intensive crash course in watercolour painting.
Learning how to paint with watercolour unaccompanied can be a frustrating process! During this workshop, your teacher will break down the processes of watercolour painting and explore the techniques required to help you control the paint to your own liking. Students will work from a variety of subjects to learn how to construct a painting from start to finish, and employ various colour-based and technical skills during the process. The main subjects of this two-session workshop will be colour theory, brush technique, glazing & practice.

INSTRUCTOR
› SARAH KILCOYNE is a watercolour illustrator originally from Ireland.
She works traditionally, in watercolour & ink, and have been practicing as an illustrator since she graduated from the Limerick College of Art & Design with a BA Honours in Fine Art in 2011. Sarah combines her work as a visual artist with teaching figure drawing & painting. She has exhibited in many shows between Ireland and Germany, and currently paints in her studio at ESDIP Berlin.
